JUIN Tech X1 2-Pistion Hybrid Disk Brake Post Mount with floating disk

The Juin R1 was given a performance boost by JUIN Tech in the laboratory, and the result was the JUIN X1. Like the R1, the X1 is a cable operated hydraulic disc brake and offers a unique solution for riders who want to step up from mechanical disc brakes, but also for riders who want the convenience of a disc brake without having to switch to hydraulic STI .

To improve heat dissipation and durability, the X1 brake pistons have been given a special coating. The pistons slide on an Öhlins sealing ring to reduce friction and increase controllability.

In contrast to R1, the X1 brake pads are equipped with cooling fins similar to Shimano. With the X1 brake bellows, the cooling fins are not firmly connected to the carrier plate of the brake lining. This means that when the brake pads wear, only the pad needs to be replaced and the cooling fins can be reused .

Juin X1 disc brake is supplied as single brakes for the front or rear.
