The Jitsie chain cutter makes removing links out of a chain an easy job. Simply clamp the chain in and the compression screw forces the link pin through the side plate.

Robust chain cutting tool for trial chains with a 428 pitch (e.g. Electric Motion) and 520 pitch (e.g. TRS, GasGas, Beta, Vertigo, Sherco)

Due to the robust design, it is possible to simply press out the pin of the chain and thereby open the chain. A rivet or clip lock is then required to close the chain.

An indispensable tool that should be in every tool box next to a spare chain or chain lock
