Like the JUIN R1 / F1 and the GT-P, the JUIN Tech GT-F is a hydraulic disc brake operated by the brake cable. However, both the GT-F and the GT-P use four brake pistons. As a result, the brake line is increased again compared to the R1. At the same time, it was possible to reduce the weight of the brake caliper compared to the R1. The F in the name stands for Flat Mount, while the P stands for Post Mount.

An increased number of pistons and a larger area of the brake pad mean more braking power. Another advantage of the GT-F is its slimmer design and lower weight compared to its older siblings JUIN R1 and JUIN F1.

The surface still consists of the same high-quality anodized layer of the well-known JUIN brakes. To further improve the GT-F, the coating of the brake pistons and the adjusting screw of the JUIN Tech X1 have been adopted.

If you are looking for a hydraulic hybrid disc brake with flat mount and actuation by brake cable (Bowden cable), you have come to the right place with the GT-F.

The GT-F fits most bicycle frames / forks with flat mount.

NOTE: If your bike is mounted inside the triangle (seat & chain stay), check the installation space. With some frame manufacturers, the distance between the mount and the seat stay is very small, which is why in individual cases the lever or the brake adjusting screw may come into contact with the stay.

The JUIN GT-F is designed for the assembly of 160 mm brake discs. If your frame is designed for 140mm panes ex works, 160mm panes are used for the GT-F. If the frame is designed for 160 mm brake discs ex works, then you have to use 180 mm discs with the GT-F.
